It’s difficult to imagine that I’ve been here for a week. In many good ways it seems longer than that; in other ways, it’s as if I just arrived.<\/p>\n

After the last part of the integration lectures in the morning, we had 10 hours of traveling.<\/p>\n

First we went to Muellerthal for a quick 1km hike to the\u00a0Schiessent\u00fcmpel\u00a0water falls. \u00a0Then on to see the castle in \u00a0<\/span>Beaufort. \u00a0This photo doesn’t do it justice, but it’s the only one I took:<\/span><\/p>\n

This part of Luxembourg is nicknamed\u00a0<\/span>Echternach or Little Switzerland. Then off to the St. Martin\u00a0w<\/span>inery where they store the wine in man-made caves, where learned about Luxembourg, especially their sparkling white wine known as Cr\u00e9mant de Luxembourg. The night ended with dinner at the \u00a0<\/span>Schueberfouer\u00a0or Fun Fest in Luxembourg City. The carnival was packed with people. Not one for crowds (or rides that hold you upside-down), I went back to the\u00a0Ch\u00e2teau exhausted.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
